Looking for a driven sous chef willing to learn about different techniques, ingredients, and cuisine while dealing with as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. We are looking for an experienced chef to be able to hold staff accountable to the standards set for service and otherwise. A chef able to close the restaurant four nights of the week while maintaining product quality and quantity by maintaining ordering protocols. A chef with some catering experience who can execute off site and on site catered parties effectively. We are looking for someone who is going to be a good leader, who is willing to collaborate, and have fun while creating the food that we want to eat from people we want to eat it from. We take our relationships with farmers and local proveyors very seriously to help move our local community forward and provide a more sustainable way to eat and drink. At the Wrecking Bar Brewpub we pride ourselves in being a almost completely from scratch kitchen, making most everything in house from charcuterie and pastries, sodas and tinctures, to all of our beer. Competitive salary starting at $50K a year.
